Concept

As a renowned artist, Sophie’s work has left an indelible mark on the art world and beyond. Co-founder of Arts Help and an AI ethics explorer at MIT, Sophie’s dedication to her craft is truly inspiring.

Our challenge was to distill all of this into a modern and pristine website, a platform that could beautifully showcase her body of work while seamlessly integrating the latest industry news. That’s precisely why we made the deliberate choice to craft the website as an immersive full-page experience, featuring horizontal scrolls. This approach breaks away from industry norms, elevating the prominence of Sophie’s paintings and offering a unique online journey.

Modern Techonologies

Sophie’s website was meticulously crafted, harnessing the power of GSAP for dynamic animations and Barba.js to ensure flawlessly smooth page transitions. Our primary aim was to craft a user experience that’s not only modern but also highly engaging. The seamless transition between pages, coupled with captivating background effects that harmonize with Sophie’s art, transforms the website into a work of art in its own right.

Fun-Oh-Four

In keeping with our commitment to infuse every project with thoughtful details, this case was no exception. Amidst the array of animation effects and intricate elements, we’ve also crafted an animated 404 page—a delightful surprise that many users may not encounter, but akin to an easter egg for those who do.
